I must give credit where it is due, particularly in light of my previous criticisms of Yahoo Science. Rob Waugh did a solid piece on the Worldwide Hum. The only major outlet left which doesn’t get it is Wikipedia, whose article on the Hum is a disaster. A few anonymous folks on that site are preventing any serious edits to that page, and are doing a real disservice to those who are suffering and to those who are doing serious work on the topic. Yet again I encourage an editing war on that page, which will force Wikipedia to lock down the article and pass judgment on the issue.

The World Hum Map and Database Project A project which aims to document for research purposes the locations and self-reported data on this phenomenon. The World Hum Map and Database Project is directed by Dr. Glen MacPherson. As of June 2016 over 10,000 individuals (most in the United States and Western Europe) have reported hearing (and often feeling) the Hum in the Hum Database.[1]
